Australasian Association of Six Sigma Practitioners |
|
AASSP is an association comprised of organisations and individuals who are leading the practice of Six Sigma in Australasia. We started in early 2004 with a 1-day forum of representatives of companies who discussed the lessons they had learned in deploying Six Sigma. Our aim is to enable sharing of our experiences and thereby enhance the success of our members efforts. Our VISION is to be the pre eminent forum for Six Sigma best practice sharing, and through this enabling the successful uptake of the methodology and embedding the thinking into organisations across Australasia. Our PURPOSE is to: - Provide a point of contact for companies seeking advice from experienced practitioners on how to deploy Six Sigma throughout their enterprise
- Manage knowledge on best practice, latest trends and research on Six Sigma deployment, operations and techniques for members
- Share knowledge through participation at, and hosting of conferences, seminars or other such forums for members.
- Define and refine the minimum acceptable standards for company certified green, black and master black belt practitioners within Australasia.
We VALUE: - Openness and sharing
- Mutual respect
- Excellence in practice, and continuous improvement
