Individuals within the AASSP are often invited to speak at events. Please contact us and let us know what you have in mind. If appropriate, your request will be passed on within the AASSP to find a speaker.

Can anyone join the AASSP?
Membership of AASSP is open to individuals and companies working in business transformation in Australia. For more specific membership information check out out Membership page
Who belongs to the AASSP?
The AASSP member base is varied and covers individuals and company memberships. Current members work in a variety of industries including:
- Public service
- Local council
- Information Technology
- Mining services
Who runs AASSP?
A committee is elected annually by the members. Committee roles are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Ordinary Committee Member (x3).
Members can be nominated for a committee role and are voted in during the Annual General Meeting. The commitment for committee roles is for 24 months and requires that a member has an interest in and passion for developing the association and promoting industry advancement; and will make the time for this unpaid voluntary position.
Participation on the AASSP committee rewards members with interesting challenges and a great opportunity for professional recognition. The committee works on behalf of the members. Most members of the committee are Master Black Belts. Please be patient if you contact us and we do not respond immediately. We all have day jobs!
Who organises AASSP forums?
The AASSP Committee organizes all member events and may request support from members from time-to-time
Do I need to join to come along to an AASSP Forum?
If you have not yet joined and are considering membership, you may attend one event (excluding the Practitioner Forum) and then decide if you would like to apply for membership.
Do I need to join to come along to an AASSP Practitioner Forum?
Yes, only members are entitled to attend the AASSP Practitioner Forum.
Do you provide training or advice on Lean Six Sigma training?
AASSP members do not provide any training. Individual members are willing to share their experiences of training providers with other members and potential members.
Can you recommend a Lean Six Sigma consultant?
The AASSP does not provide advice on specific consultants. Individual members are willing to share their experiences of training providers with other members and potential members.
AASSP is an association of organisations and individuals who are leading the practice of Lean Six Sigma in Australasia.
