Membership in the AASSP
For professionals working in business transformation, membership in the AASSP connects you with peers across the region and helps your learning and sharing with like-minded individuals.
Membership of the AASSP is open to people working in, studying, or considering working in business transformation.
Our members have experience in a range of transformation techniques – including Lean, Six Sigma, and process management. Our members either work in an organisation with a defined improvement or transformation program or are individuals with an interest in continuous improvement.

AASSP members span some of Australasia’s largest companies and industries as diverse as banking, defence, FMCG and telecommunications.

Membership Types

There are four types of AASSP membership:
-
Individual
An individual working in or studying business transformation, continuous improvement or business process improvement; or those considering a career change into this dynamic area
-
Company
An organisation with a formal, active business transformation program
-
Individual Service Providers
An individual working for an organisation servicing the business process improvement community or companies looking to improve process performance (e.g. consulting firms, recruitment companies and software vendors).
To ensure AASSP events remain open sharing environments a strict ‘no-sell’ policy exists at all events unless expressly approved by the Committee in writing and communicated clearly to members as such. Individual Service Provider members may be identified as such at all events.
-
Company Service Providers
Companies servicing the business process improvement community or companies looking to improve process performance (e.g. consulting firms, recruitment companies and software vendors).
As with Individual Service Providers, a strict ‘no-sell’ policy exists at all events unless expressly approved by the Committee in writing and communicated clearly to members as such. Individuals working for Company Service Providers may be identified as such at all events.
What’s included in AASSP membership?
AASSP members have extensive knowledge on best practises, latest trends and research on business transformation deployment, operations and techniques. We share this knowledge through participation at events, on our members only extranet and in our regular member newsletters.
Our aim is to enable sharing of our experiences and thereby enhance the success of our members’ business transformation efforts. All AASSP members benefit from collaboration, access to the region’s leading business transformation professionals for advice and learning and the ability to benchmark all elements of improvement programs.

Access to AASSP events and resources is dependent on the type of membership.
* As a member, service providers will be required to share insights into practices and activities that benefit and build the AASSP commuity. Either by volunteering or by invitation, they are required to contribute their knowledge, skills and resources to live our value of not for profit, just for value.
Please Note:
The number of participants in each VirtualClass is restricted to ensure everyone has an opportunity to contribute. Registrations will be accepted through the nominated registration process on a first in, first served basis.
